The differences could not have been bigger between the Dutch based Wannes and Borinda. She likes a colorful Mediterranean atmosphere, while he prefers to live in a house with an industrial touch. Dutch Stylist Fietje Bruijn found the perfect balance between the 2 opposites and transformed the dining area into an inviting and comfortable space. The NAHKA leather cushions, all FINN 40 x 100 cm in Hey honey, are wall-mounted using the SULI wall mount system.
STUDIO SLUIJZER FOR LIGHTBOXX | CUSTOM CARPET KUTOA
Studio Sluijzer designed the hospitality area of the brand-new circular and sustainable Lightboxx office in Nijkerk (NL). The contrast between concrete & soft, natural materials makes the space a welcoming and warm reception area. NAHKA had the pleasure to work with Studio Sluijzer on the development of an oversized custom KUTOA carpet measuring 900 X 140 cm! We love it!
WORK HARD, PLAY HARDER!
Dutch brand ELHO is known for its durable plastic plant accessories. The Space Encounters (Amsterdam, NL) had the privilege to re-design the ELHO headquarters in Tilburg (NL). Amsterdam based Binnenvorm being responsible for styling & furnishings… thanks to them, NAHKA is permanently present in the beautiful head office. The leather cushions bring comfort, warmth and a flexible use of space. If an occasional pillow fight takes place during lunch break? Only the employees of ELHO know for sure!
TRIJNTJE VISSER SANDERS x NAHKA | INVITING MINIMALISM
In Gieterveen (The Netherlands) a notary’s house from 1909 is fully restored by Trijntje Visser-Sanders and her husband. The piece of history has been given a warm, inviting & minimalist interior.
Trijntje has added various natural materials such as linen pillows, wooden stools and wool blankets to bring warmth to the natural color palette of grey, sand, white and black. The cozy & inviting atmosphere can be felt throughout the house.
The living space with open kitchen has, in addition to a beautiful butterflied concrete floor, a dozen large windows that provide a lot of natural light. A long table offers space for the whole family and for many of their friends and relatives. The long sofa is the ideal piece of furniture to pack with guests, coziness at its best! A welcoming comfort is brought by the NAHKA leather cushion turning many evenings into wonderful nights!
